International day against harassment and for inclusion in the world of work:
Each year, a global meeting in a symbolic city.

Our approach

Capitalize on our partnership with the chambers of commerce of the host cities.

Their established network and credibility within the business community allow us to efficiently leverage local resources. Their connections with local institutions, employee and employer unions, as well as other relevant stakeholders, are invaluable for creating a more inclusive dialogue. The Chamber of Commerce acts as a focal point, helping to engage everyone in the conversation and ensuring that all voices are heard on a topic that presents a significant challenge not only to businesses but also to society at large.

Understand local realities.

By alternating the event location, we aim to highlight the local realities and cultural contexts that shape experiences of harassment and inclusion in the workplace. It is crucial to understand that these issues are not universal but are influenced by specific cultural norms, beliefs, and legal frameworks.

Share best practices in legislation.

Each country has unique legislation, enforcement mechanisms, and support systems to combat workplace harassment and promote inclusion. By hosting the event in different countries, we can create a repository of best practices. These can serve as models for countries that are still in the early stages of addressing these critical issues.

Collaborations with local stakeholders.

Hosting in various locations allows us to collaborate with local associations, unions, and institutions already doing innovative work. Their involvement provides valuable insights and more comprehensive support to victims.

Provide cultural insights to end the cycle of violence.

Understanding the complexities of harassment and exclusion from multiple cultural perspectives enables the development of more effective educational strategies. We believe that education is the first step in breaking the cycle of violence, and it can only be effective if it is culturally sensitive and relevant.

Global reach through webinars

Even as the physical location changes, the inclusion of webinars allows for the participation of individuals who cannot attend the event in person, making it truly international. This digital aspect ensures that learnings, resources, and conversations are accessible to a broader audience.
