The 2026 Edition in Focus: Challenges, Commitments and Legacy
.
Constance du Réau de La Gaignonnière has been Category Manager at Transgourmet since 2023. A graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, she completed an internship as Customer Relationship Officer at the Tamassa Hotel in Mauritius as part of her training. This experience allowed her to develop a strong sensitivity to the quality of human relationships and to managing multicultural environments.
Her commitment also reflects an openness to the world from an early age, notably through a year-long exchange program in Australia with the Rotary Club of Fribourg, which deepened her understanding of issues related to inclusion and diversity.
An active member of Rotaract since 2015 and a founding member of the Fribourg/Freiburg club, she had the opportunity to serve as its president during the 2021–2022 and 2022–2023 terms. Today, she is involved at the District 1990 level as a representative, with a commitment to promoting responsible leadership grounded in respect, active listening, and collaboration.
Through these experiences, she has come to believe that the quality of human relationships is essential to building healthy, inclusive, and respectful work environments where everyone can find their place and truly thrive.
Why is the International Day Against Harassment and for Inclusion in the Workplace so important?
What makes the workplace fairer is, above all, people who are able to see one another as equals, beyond their differences — because those differences enrich us and help us grow together.
Refusing harassment in all its forms means choosing a healthier environment, and it starts with small gestures, every day.
